Keiera Hanks, Office Manager

Keiera is a nursing student at Lone Star college. She helps establish office organization and an enhanced internal operations management. She brings a strong work ethic and is always ready to work with the team.


Muriel Foster, Marketing Coordinator

Muriel Foster is a recent graduate from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor in Marketing and a minor in International Business. Since being at OSU, she developed a passion for helping others. She held positions on the African American Business Student Association as the Executive Secretary and Vice President in the efforts to bring more awareness and job opportunities to the African American business students on campus. She pushed her caring and compassionate spirit further once she began working for the Eastin Center for Career Readiness her junior year. The Eastin Center is a program that helps business students develop themselves professionally for their endeavors during and after college. While working there, she was able to create and develop a professional clothing closet for students. This allowed students to acquire suits and professional clothing accessories for interviews and campus events for free.

After graduating, she took her passion and drive to Cape Town with the University of Florida. She began her work with the program Empowerment and Enrichment in South Africa that allowed her to gain insight and hands on experience with business consulting. The program consisted of 8 teams of students from 3 U.S. universities and students from the University of Western Cape. In total, they helped 16 South African entrepreneurs to increase operations, financial stability, and marketing efforts for their businesses

With her vast array of knowledge in marketing, branding and statistics, she is ready to help us establish and maintain systems that will increase the practices growth.

Meghan Ashley

Meghan graduated from LSU- Shreveport with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with a focus on clinical practice. She holds a License in Professional Counseling and began her mental health career working as an intern in college counseling, prison counseling, and as a skills trainer for individuals with severe chronic mental illness. Meghan worked in Dallas Texas as a behavior specialist and has a background in working with adults and children on the autism spectrum to help them help themselves lead full independent lives. She has years’ experience as a therapist, crisis clinician, and case manager at inpatient psychiatric facilities as well. Meghan has been a Professor of psychology and student success for the last few years and continues to focus on therapy with children and adults surrounding the issues of behavior management, anxiety, depression, chronic mental illness, and issues unique to autism.

Stephanie Davis

Stephanie Davis, M.Ed, LPC, author of Unmasked: The Journey and Its Lessons, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, former School Counselor, and owner of Heartwork Trending Counseling and Consulting Services, PLLC. Stephanie believes that counseling and educating youth and young adults is a "work of heart".

With over 10 years of experience in education, she strives to change the stereotypes associated with those that seek therapy within various socioeconomic statuses. She aspires to inspire students, clients, parents, families, schools, and communities to be a voice to bring awareness to mental health issues such as teen suicide, depression, bullying, self-efficacy and other concerns.

Ellen Johnson

Ellen Johnson is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern. Ellen was raised in Minnesota and educated in Alabama before moving to Texas to begin her career in counseling. Ellen attended Auburn University at Montgomery and obtained a B.S. in Psychology and Alabama State University where she obtained a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Ellen Has been working as a counselor in Texas, since June 2017. Ellen has a passion working with children and was part of a team that developed statistics for the youth crime rate, for 2015 & 2016 for Montgomery County, Al, law enforcement officials to utilize. Ellen hopes to make an impact in the lives of those she reaches and be a positive light.


Angela Limbrick

Angela Limbrick, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who specializes in helping her clients develop a more rewarding and satisfying life. She believes in creating a genuine relationship with her clients to help them gain a more adequate acceptance of themselves.  She has experience with children with emotional and behavioral difficulties at home and/or school, pre-teens and adolescents with anger management and anxiety issues, and parents who are having difficulties setting healthy boundaries and parenting with patience and acceptance. 


Her approach is person-centered, cognitive behavior therapy, solution-focused, and play therapy. She offers individual and group therapy;  social skills, anger management, and trauma & grief component therapy for adolescents (TGCTA).


Valerie Ekeoba Pittman

Valerie Ekeoba Pittman  is a Licensed Master Social Worker with 9 years of experience working with people experiencing homelessness. Valerie earned her B.S. in Psychology from University of Houston - Downtown in 2009, and began her work in homeless services as a case manager.  She then earned her MSW degree from the University of Houston in 2014 and continued to work in both a direct services and leadership roles serving homeless individuals in behavioral and physical health crisis in the Greater Houston area. Valerie has extensive experience and training in crisis intervention/counseling, Motivational Interviewing with individuals and groups, Solution Focused Therapy, and Behavior Therapy.  

Valerie's work with adults experiencing on going struggles due to mental health and physical health treatment disparities combined with other consequences of low socioeconomic status, have driven a passion in her for working with youths at risk for these barriers in adulthood. Her primary focus is on group interventions and developing peer level leaders that can inspire other young people to make positive life choices that can improve their current situations.

Lorri Key

Lorri Key is a LCSW/MPH with over 18 years of clinical social counseling experience in the field. Lorri's worked with a variety of populations and cultures having worked in Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas and Florida providing services to children, adolescents and adults. The extent of her experience is varied working in hospital settings, community mental health agencies, college counseling centers along with developing a faith based counseling center in Memphis, TN. Most recently, Lorri transitioned into managed care and telephonic case management assisting members with holistic health care needs. Her focus is identity work, issues of faith and decreasing stigmas in the African American community related to mental health. She has also completed certification to supervise other social workers attempting to become independent providers. Lorri also loves to train and educate others and provides mentoring to new employees and welcomes the opportunity to present to other clinicians. A few of her presentations are "Saving my Last Nerve"-increasing coping skills with African America women, If You Can't Beat Em Join Them-Collaborating with  Faith Based Centers to improve Mental Health Services, and Disrupt Yourself-taking control of your career path.
