What is it and how does it impact you?
Mental health describes a individual's psychological and emotional well-being. It describes how we think, how we act and how we interact with others. Mental health even influences the way we perceive ourselves. Mental health is important at every stage of life from birth to adulthood.
Mental Health is impacted by both biological means such as genes and brain chemistry as well as environmental factors such as a person's environment and both positive and negative life experiences.
Being aware of your mental health aids in being able to cope with life stressors and appropriately function in your daily activities
